Rules and Regulations for BGMI Tournament
1. General Rules:
1.1. All participants must have a valid BGMI account to compete in the tournament. 1.2. Players must register using their in-game name (IGN). Any mismatch may lead to disqualification. 1.3. The tournament is strictly for players aged 16 and above. Proof of age may be required. 1.4. Only mobile devices (phones) are allowed. Tablets, emulators, and third-party controllers are strictly prohibited. 1.5. Each team must have 4 players (Squad) with an optional substitute (5th player). 1.6. Team captains are responsible for communication and managing their teams.
2. Game Rules:
2.1. The tournament will follow the official BGMI game mode settings (Classic Mode – Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, or Vikendi). 2.2. The total number of matches and maps will be decided prior to the event and communicated to the players. 2.3. Teams must join the custom room within the specified time. Late entries will not be entertained. 2.4. No re-hosts will be allowed unless there is a technical issue from the organizer’s side. 2.5. All in-game glitches or exploits are strictly forbidden (e.g., clipping, invisibility glitches). 2.6. Teams are not allowed to intentionally team up with other teams (teaming). Such behavior will result in disqualification. 2.7. Any use of third-party software (hacks, cheats, scripts) will lead to immediate disqualification and a permanent ban from future events.
3. Communication and Conduct:
4.1. Teams must maintain respectful communication throughout the tournament. Abusive language or harassment will not be tolerated. 4.2. Players must follow the instructions of the tournament officials at all times. 4.3. Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior will lead to disqualification. 4.4. Streaming or sharing match information during live games is prohibited unless authorized by the organizers.
4. Technical Issues:
5.1. The tournament organizers are not responsible for any player’s technical issues (network lag, device failure). 5.2. In case of a major issue affecting multiple players (e.g., server crash), the match may be restarted at the discretion of the organizers. 5.3. Players are advised to have a stable internet connection and a fully charged device before joining the game.
5. Prizes and Rewards:
6.1. Prizes will be awarded based on the final standings at the end of the tournament. 6.2. Winners must provide valid identification details to claim their prizes. 6.3. Any player found violating the rules will forfeit their prize, and the next eligible team/player will receive it.
6. Dispute and Appeal:
7.1. Any disputes or issues during the tournament must be reported to the tournament officials immediately. 7.2. The decision of the tournament officials will be final and binding. 7.3. Teams may appeal decisions only if there is substantial proof of a rule violation.
7. Streaming and Media:
8.1. The tournament organizers reserve the right to stream all matches and use the content for promotional purposes. 8.2. Players agree to allow the use of their gameplay and in-game usernames in promotional materials.
8. Amendments:
9.1. The organizers reserve the right to modify or update the rules at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the participants.
9. Disclaimer:
10.1. The tournament organizers are not liable for any damage, loss, or injury arising from participation in the event. 10.2. By participating, players agree to comply with all the rules and regulations outlined above.
